Compilations with Cause is a monthly compilation series organized by Pasithea Productions and a cast of rotating guests. The goal of this project is to support and promote the work of those organizations advocating, inspiring and organizing positive social change that upholds diversity, equity and inclusion. The sales from this compilation will be donated to a new organization doing this work monthly.

We also hope to support the local music community of Greater Boston and New England at large. A compilation is an opportunity for us to make an amazing and diverse mixtape of some of New England’s most talented artist. We hope these compilations will help to showcase them and to broaden their audiences.

Each month we feature a new non-profit that has a solid history in organizing and inspiring social justice and change through programming and activism. On “Bandcamp Friday” we will release the most current compilation. Bandcamp Friday started during the pandemic of 2020 and it is the first Friday of the month where bandcamp waives their fees letting the the majority of sales go to the account holder. Our hope would be to ride the wave of the promotion, energy and excitement surrounding these days and raise the most funds possible for our featured non-profit.

PROFITS FROM THIS MONTH’S COMPILATION WILL GO TO... East Boston Community Soup Kitchen.

Located in the heart of East Boston's Maverick Square, the East Boston Community Soup Kitchen is the go-to destination for those hungry for nourishment and community. They are a grassroots volunteer run kitchen open every Tuesday to provide hot meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They strive to provide a sense of community to those affected by hunger, homelessness and difficult life circumstances. Their meals are served with compassionate care that upholds the dignity of those in need. The soup kitchen was started with the intention of helping the city’s homeless but it became very clear that it wasn’t just the homeless that were in need of a hot meal served with compassion.
